PARISH PICNIC – Sunday, July 14, 1-4 pm (cold/hot beverages will be available after 1:30 pm, meals served from 2:30pm to 3:30pm) at Queen’s Park in New Westminster. Meal choices are: beef burger (with/without cheese), BBQ chicken breast or salmon burger. Tickets will be on sale, today after mass. Tickets: Adults $ 10, children 4-7 $ 5, family of 4 or more $ 30. There will be activities available for everyone to participate in, so please come and join us! DUE TO CATERING REQUIREMENTS, ANYONE WANTING TO ATTEND HAS JUST THIS WEEKEND TO PURCHASE THEIR TICKET. FOR THOSE ATTENDINGTHE PICNIC, PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR TICKET IN ORDER TO CLAIM YOUR MEAL.

Now that we have reached the Archdiocesan Goal for St. Peter’s Parish, any amount raised on top of the pledged goal comes back to the parish as a rebate. MEDICAL AID FOR VIETNAM – MISSION APPEAL: Father Tien Tran, pastor of All Saints Parish in Coquitlam, has been conducting medical mission trips, for the last 18 years, along with hundreds of doctors, dentists, nurses, and volunteers, to help the poor in Vietnam. Every eight months a medical team goes to Vietnam and works for two weeks treating poor patients in remote villages. Father Tien Tran and Father Joseph Le who has also been on the mission will be presenting a talk on the subject during Masses at:

We are looking for 2 volunteers to help the people at Kiwanis Care Home for two hours in the morning of the first Thursday of each month for the celebration of the Eucharist. If anyone is interested and available, please call the Parish Office. We thank Ray and Patricia Scobie who have been doing this ministry at the Kiwanis Care Home for many years.
