PRE – LENT PROGRAM – On Wednesday, March 2, 7:30 to 9:00 pm our parish will be having evening of prayer, followed by a presentation, discussion and refreshment. The theme for this session is “Stations of the Cross as a form of Pilgrimage”.

YOUNG-AT-HEART SPECIAL ST. PATRICK’S DAY TEA: The Young-At-Heart will be having a Special St. Patrick’s Day Tea on Thursday, March 3rd after the Noon Mass. Tickets: $ 5.00 each will be sold after the 9 am and 11 am Masses. Don’t forget to wear GREEN.

PANCAKE BREAKFAST: The Knights of Columbus will be serving a delicious pancake and sausage breakfast next weekend March 6, after the 9 and 11 am masses.

SACRAMENT OF THE SICK: We will celebrate the Sacrament of the Anointing of the sick on Saturday and Sunday, March 5 and 6. All adults and children whose health is seriously impaired by sickness or old age may receive this sacrament.

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION: Every parish in the Archdiocese of Vancouver is assigned three days during the year for Eucharistic Adoration. We are having it on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

  • Thursday, March 3: 12:30 – 4:00 p.m.
  • Friday, March 4: 12:30 – 4:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 5: 12:30 – 4:00 p.m.

There are sign-up sheets at the back of the Church to assure that someone will be in the Church during these times.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS – Saturday, April 9th after the 5 pm Mass we will be having a fundraising dinner for our refugee family (who will be coming soon). More info to come.

ALTAR SERVERS NEEDED FOR THE 9:00 AM MASS: There is a real shortage of altar servers’ for the 9:00 am Sunday mass. If you can serve at this Mass, or can switch from one of the other Masses in order to serve at the 9:00 am Mass, it would be much appreciated. Please contact the Parish Office or Marisa Brown at 604-523-0573 if you can help out by serving at this Mass.

WORLD DAY OF PRAYER 2011 – How Many Loaves Have You? Written by the women of Chile. World Day of Prayer will be held at St. Aidan’s Presbyterian Church, 1320 7th Avenue (at 14th Street), New Westminster. Friday, March 4 @ 1:30 pm. For information contact 604-522-7581. Please join us.

PRO-LIFE MASS & VIGIL: Peaceful, prayerful vigil for unborn children and their parents. Archbishop Michael Miller, CSB will celebrate Mass at St. Patrick’s Parish, 2881 Main Street Vancouver on March 5, 9 am, followed by Vigil at Women’s Hospital.
