St. Peter’s offers catechism classes once a week for the children in grades 1 to 7.  It’s meant to compliment the religious education being taught at home.  These lessons give the parents an opportunity to review, discuss and discover our love and understanding of Jesus with their children.   All parents are encouraged to take an active part in their child’s learning which in turn will benefit the family as a whole.   PREP classes are offered every Wednesday from 6:15 – 7:30 pm at the Parish Centre.   PREP classes also include preparation for the sacraments of First Communion, Reconciliation and Confirmation.  For students beyond grade 7 requiring sacramental catch-up, please email us using address below.

Welcome Back to ST. PETER’S PREP 2022/23!

Classes to begin Wednesday Sept 21^st.

In-Person registration will be on September 14^th from 6-7:30pm at the church.  On-line registration link is available at the bottom of this page.

A few important notes:

• Masks are NOT mandatory.
• We will try our best to do as much social distancing as possible. Class sizes may be a factor this year.
• Online classes will NOT be offered.
• All students preparing for a sacrament are required to have full attendance. No exceptions.
• Regular classes will begin September 21 from 6:15 to 7:30.
• Prices are as they were before Covid, $50 for one student, $100 for a family of two kids or more.  If anyone requires financial assistance, please let us know.  NO one will be turned away.
• All new students are required to submit a copy of their baptismal certificates. Scanned copies are fine.
• Registration is accepted with cash or cheque only – payable on the first week of classes.
