Our work consists primarily in providing families and individuals with food vouchers which are delivered to the people’s home by the Society members. Queens Park Extended Care facilities are visited by two other members. Another member is active with St. Peter’s Social Justice Committee, who are preparing Salvation Army lunches for the poor. 103 Christmas hampers were delivered (100 hampers in 2009). In addition St. Vincent de Paul supports other churches with their lunches and breakfast programs. There were 36 volunteers who helped us with the preparation and the delivery of the Christmas hampers. There were also 6 helpers from Luke 15 society.
Active members are: Paul Levy, Jan Potter, John Simmer. Terry Jurick, Corrie Heijke and Patrick Lobo.
