Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
As we live this holy season of Lent, I appeal to you to take part in this year’s Share Lent

Campaign. This campaign gives each of us the opportunity to hear the cry of the poor, the hungry, the marginalized and those suffering the effects of war, violence and natural disasters throughout the world.

This year Share Lent is focussing on supporting small-scale farmers in the world’s poorest regions. Your generosity will be a blessing to the families and to the millions who depend on them for their daily bread.

I invite you to be generous in the Share Lent Collection taken on “Solidarity Sunday,” The Fifth Sunday of Lent, 25th March 2012. The proceeds of your almsgiving will assist development projects in making lasting improvements in the lives of our brothers and sisters most in need. The Lord will surely reward your Lenten sacrificial offering.

Be assured of my prayers for you and your families during this holy season of renewal and conversion of heart. With my blessing, I remain

Sincerely yours in Christ, J. Michael Miller, CSB
