40 DAYS FOR LIFE is a focused Pro-Life campaign during Lent to help bring the end to the tragedy of abortion. This campaign for Life is made up of 3 components:- Prayer & Fasting , Peaceful Vigil (Outside B.C. Women’s Hospital) and Community Outreach. It started on February 22nd and goes to April 1st. Advance Care Planning Workshop: Sat. March 24 St. Peter’s. Facilitated by the Catholic Health Association of BC and the Respect Life Office. Workshop begins with Mass at 9:00 am and a continental breakfast. Come & learn the latest tools to help with the planning and care we all want at the end of our lives.

DEVELOPMENT & PEACE SOLIDARITY VISITOR TALK AND POTLUCK – St. Mary’s Church Basement, Wednesday, March 14 at 6:30 pm. We’re getting together for a potluck and talk by Solidarity Visitor Mam Sambath, Director General of DPA, a Dev. & Peace partner in Cambodia. Sambath will share his experiences of working with the poorest villages in Cambodia to make them self-sufficient. DPA also looks into the environmental and social impacts of mining activities on land and communities. If you have friends who are interested in social justice and development and peace issues please bring them with you.
