EUCHARISTIC ADORATION – First Friday, August 3, 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm.

PROJECT ADVANCE UPDATE – SHARING WITH JOY:
Archdiocesan Goal: $ 30,500. # of Pledges: 114. Total Amount Collected: $ 34,552.
If a parishioner would like to contribute towards Project Advance, they can do so by filling out a brochure from the church entrance, contact the parish office or online at: www.rcav.org.
BUILDING ENHANCEMENT FUND UPDATE: $ 22,658.41.
Donations can be made through the Sunday Building Fund Envelopes or contact the parish office.

PRO-LIFE MASS & VIGIL: Peaceful, prayerful vigil for unborn children and their parents will take place on Saturday, August 4, 9 am. Mass at Immaculate Conception Parish, 8842 – 119 Street, Surrey, followed by Vigil at the Surrey Memorial Hospital.

FUN – FILLED ITALIAN EVENING: Saturday, August 18 at Holy Trinity Cathedral, 514 Carnarvon Street. Doors open 6:00 pm – Dinner served at 7:00 pm. Gourmet Dinner, entertainment, silent auction, door prizes, wine/beer cash bar. Tickets $ 50 (a tax receipt for $ 35 will be issued). For tickets call 604-521-2511. All proceeds in support of HTC Ministries.

DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO THE GROTTO OF OUR LADY OF LOURDES:
Fraser River Heritage Park, Mission – Saturday, August 18. Confessions are heard between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. After Mass we process to the Grotto where the Rosary is prayed, followed by Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament. Then, it is Picnic time and Fellowship. Even though there is a food concession, please bring our own picnic lunch and chairs.

SALT + LIGHT
1) Beloved: The Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia, Wednesday, August 1, 8 pm ET / 5 pm PT.

This Salt + Light documentary takes you to the heart of the “Bible Belt” in Tennessee, where the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia have embraced that love in the living of their vows and apostolic life for almost 150 years.

2) Assisi in Silence, Wednesday, August 1, 9 pm ET / 6 pm PT.

During the Second World War, racist laws in Italy forced thousands of Jews to flee their cities in search of a safe haven. A few hundred of these refugees, facing dangerous obstacles along the way reached Assisi, the city of St. Francis.
