If a person would like to spend some quiet time in church, they can do so, Monday to Friday, 9 to 12:40and2to4pm.

PARISHIONERS WHO PARK IN THE LOADING ZONE please refrain from doing so as seniors cannot be dropped at that zone and they have to walk up the hill if dropped elsewhere.
PLEASE NOTE IT IS A LOADING ZONE ONLY. NO PARKING.

PARISH PICNIC – Sunday, July 8, 1 – 4 pm, Queens’ Park.

(Snacks and drinks will be served at 1:30 pm; meals will be served beginning at 3:30 pm). You will have a choice of hamburger or bbq chicken breast, dinner bun with butter, potato salad, cole
slaw, sweetsand coffee/tea/water or juice for the children.

As in previous years, we also welcome anyone who wants to donate a dessert to share at the picnic.
Tickets are adults $ 10, children 4-7 $ 5, family of 4 or more $ 30. Tickets will be sold after mass today.

Come out and have fun. Games for all ages.

DUE TO CATERING REQUIREMENTS, ANYONE WANTING TO ATTEND HAS JUST THIS WEEKEND TO PURCHASE THEIR TICKET. FOR THOSE ATTENDING THE PICNIC, PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR TICKET IN ORDER TO CLAIM YOUR MEAL.

PROJECT ADVANCE UPDATE – SHARING WITH JOY:
A BIG THANK YOU to all parishioners who contributed towards Project Advance and
The Building Enhancement Fund.
Archdiocesan Goal: $ 30,500. # of Pledges: 106. Total Amount Collected: $ 32,987. Now that we have reached the Project Advance Archdiocesan Goal for St. Peter’s Parish, any amount collected on top of the pledged goal comes back t the parish as a rebate.
If a parishioner would still like to contribute towards Project Advance, they can do so by filling out a brochure from the church entrance, contact the parish office or online at www.rcav.org.
BUILDING ENHANCEMENT FUND UPDATE TILL THE END OF JUNE: $ 21,478.93.

On Easter Sunday after the 9 am mass a green Honda Civic coupe was driving down Royal Avenue in the right lane outside City Hall. It was coming to a red light at 6th Avenue when a silver Hyundai merging into the right lane collided with the Civic. If there are any witnesses to this accident please call ICBC with claim # P526215-3.
