PREP: The Children’s Prep program is looking for enthusiastic teachers to join their team with one position being open immediately. This requires a commitment of planning hands on lessons to inspire our faith in the children. Classes are each Wednesday evening from 6:15 to 7:30pm. ADULT FAITH FORMATION: RCIA continues with the DVD Catholicism on “Mary the Mother of God”.

The CWL would appreciate donations of wool (any colour) for various knitting projects. Please put the wool
into the box marked “WOOL DONATIONS FOR CWL” at the back of the church. Thanks for your help.

YAH BINGO – Thursday January 16 & 23, 1 pm in the Hall. Admission is $ 1.00 which includes refreshments and $ 1.00 per card for 10 games. Come on out and have some fun and bring a friend.

YAH are planning a group attendance at the Massey Theatre for the musical “Annie” on Saturday April 26 matinee at 2:00 pm. Group senior’s price requires minimum of 10. Info call John Piskorik 604 521 5246.

Devotions with the Icon of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary will be held on Tuesday, January 14 after the Noon Mass. They will be led by the Knights of Columbus. All parishioners are welcome to participate.

Prayer for Christian Unity for New Westminster will be held at St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, 121 East Columbia Street, New Westminster at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, Jan. 22.

The Anglican Holy Trinity Cathedral on Carnarvon Street is asking residents of New Westminster to support them in the renovation of the Church and other buildings on their property. They are asking us to sign a petition which will be presented to the City Council. There is a table at the back of the church.

DONATION OF VANCOUVER GIANTS TICKETS: The person who donated the Vancouver Giants tickets for the St. Vincent de Paul hampers please contact the parish office.

MEET YOUR RELATIVES – Anglican-Roman Catholic Dialogue Series: Offices of Ecumenical Relations of the Archdiocese of Vancouver and Anglican Diocese of New Westminster are hosting a series of gatherings and dialogue that will help build relationship and friendship, and honour the gifts of service we bring to our communities. The conversations in a relaxed, respectful and joyful environment will help Catholics and Anglicans to grow together in faith, love and service as valued members of the Body of Christ.
